I want to share something I’ve recently committed to, and invite you to consider it with me.
I’ve been learning about unreached and unengaged people groups — 202 million people across 2,085 communities worldwide with no missionaries, no churches, and often no known believers among them. They haven’t heard the gospel not because they rejected it, but because no one has yet gone. Matthew 28:19–20 is a commandment for all of us who follow Jesus, not just a few. And Matthew 9:38 makes clear where it begins: “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest field.” Before He sends anyone, Jesus tells us to ask.
I’ve committed to doing exactly that — mobilizing daily prayer for the [name of people group], a people group who remains unengaged with the gospel. Through the DOXA prayer campaign, I’ve taken a 10-minute daily prayer slot for them, and I’m reaching out because I think you might feel the same pull I did.
